THE ROSE HOUSE, circa 1910

From 1956 to 1966 author and rose collector Jean Gordon rented this house from Mr. Dow and operated a free Rose Museum.

Today, the Colonial Revival structure exhibits eclectic pieces from Mr. Dow's collection of antiques from around the world.
